Title: Mk5 gti towbar pulling capacity

Hi, does any ony know if the Gti would pull a 750kg speedboat up and out of a slipway?

Used to have a honda s2000 and also an old disco to tow the boat with. Ideally i'd like to sell the disco and have something that will do everything i need.

The honda was sold about a month ago so on the look out fo a new car.

Was looking at something like a navara until i saw the current prices of the GTI's and really tempted.

im sure youd be ok with that, its at the heavier end of the spectrum, but you should be ok

Ok thank you. Will just have to wait for a good car to come along now.
