Title: milltek backbox dimensions.
Post by: Jayy26 on January 23, 2015, 02:52:05 am
Hi i am currently running a standard exhaust apart from the Milltek non resonated exhaust system, cat back.
I bought a decat yesterday with a reducer ,think it goes down to 2.5 so im guessing to a standard cat back?
But with the milltek is this 2.75? i should be fitting this today and i dont want to be taking it all off to find out its wrong :( my dad said something about measuring it first obvioulsy.
Just wondering if anybody can shine a bit off light on the situation and a resolution,

Thanks in advance  :drinking:

Sorry about that I thought it was 3".
Is it only powerflow that's 3" then?

Id double check the size of the reducer first just so you know for definite.

You can get 3" to 2.75" reducers online. Only other thing i could suggest would be to phone around to local exhaust fitters/suppliers and see if they have any reducers in the workshop that you could buy? That way you can still crack on with the job today :happy2:

Booked it in at top gear in Doncaster... they will modify the pipe and fit the decat for £50 so cant really grumble.
