Post by: ash_woolston on January 31, 2015, 08:05:33 pm
hi all,

has anybody on here got a build thread for fitting air lift v2 slam series
looking into fitting it, from what i understand its not all difficult but is there any fabrications required for these?

is there any chassis notch or anything needed,

if anyone finds anything out please let me know :D

It's easy mate if you can fit coilovers and run sub wire neatly it will be a piece of cake  :happy2: iv fitted it to my gti all on my own so so easy the only thing I got someone else to do was my chassis notch so the drivers side went down all the way and wasn't sat on driveshaft

sounds alright then, i work at vw specialist but i have never even looked into it let alone fitted it, but i didnt think it would be that much different :D where did you get your notch done? also what do they actually do? just cut the chassis leg shorter?
