Title: Multifunction steering wheel controls on a manual car..
Post by: jimmy-s3 on February 03, 2015, 04:58:11 pm
I have 2008 Pirelli Gti in manual. I'm wanting the multifunction controls on the steering wheel. Am I right in thinking I would need a Pirelli steering wheel off a car with DSG or what already has the controls, or is there away around this?
I'd obviously have to pay a small fortune if I had to change the wheel.?

Either a manual wheel with buttons or a dsg wheel with buttons are the only options really like you said

You could get a standard gti mfsw and get it retrimmed.

You would likely need a new controller, new wiring loom and someone to code it in!
