Well
I was driving along, heading into work when i had the OIL light come on and STOP on my dash. Coasted into a car park and shut down. Opened the bonnet, coolant was good....opened oil cap............GUNK!!! Instant thoughts...Head gasket!!!
Spoke to a local garage (50 metres away luckly) he said leave car over night if i can, check oil level and coolant level. if good then i could limp it into garage. He said he thinks may be the oil pick up pipe.
Expecting the worse i thought F**ked engine!! However i am glad to say, OIL pick up pipe was clogged, so a good engine flush, sump off, super clean and change of oil, car is fixed £180 and so much quieter.
So lucky i guess and very good garage tbh :) :notworthy:

This isn't unheard of with the 2.0 TFSI engine, several people have reported the same thing. I'm starting to pencil it into my stage 2+ plans along with a full inlet clean too, just to make sure that engine doesn't kill itself when turned up to 12.
