It was the ABS light in the dash that made me scan it, seams I have a few other problems too.
Any and all advice very welcome, many thanks.

Since it's got the fault G201 the dealers are doing that fault FOC - take it past them and ask if they'll do it!

Got to be worth a punt I guess, thanks mate will phone them Monday AM...

1 Fault Found:
00924 - Relay for Headlamp Cleaning System (J39)
check out headlight washer probably is the fuse no 36 in the fusebox on the drivers side in the dash - 3rd row up from bottom, 5th one in from the right - should be a yellow 20amp -
-
Mmmmm, how queer, I don't have a F36 fuse, don't have a F32 or F33 either...
F32 is electric windows, but so is F23. But I only have a 3 door so no rear electric windows so no F32?
F33 is electric sunroof, no sunroof so no fuse!
F34 is electric seats, yep that's right.
F35 Alarm system, yes got that one, should be 5 amps, sure mine is 25 amps, will check again...
F36 no fuse???
F37 Heated seats, yes got that one and its 30 amps.
F38 and F39 not used, nothing in mine too.
Going back with torch and my glasses to check again...
-
Well I re checked, and yes there was no F36, metal connections there but no fuse.
Got my spares box out and only had a 10 amp fuse (red), should be OK to check if working, but no, it blew on first use.
Took wife to work and went to Halfords, £1.49 for two 20A fuses...
Came home again and installed one, washed the windscreen about 20 times but still no headlamp washers???
Fuse is still good, I guess it must be the relay now, so where is it and what number???

Right, update time....
Phoned local VW yesterday morning at 9.30, who said they would ring back, but no call as of 9.00 this morning.
Phoned them again at 9.30 today and spoke to a nice chap called Mark who said that if it was a G201 ABS fault it will be done as a good will gesture, RESULT!
Car booked in for 9.00 tomorrow for check up.
Then had a look for the head lamp wash relay, found it, checked it, re installed, now working ok? Dodgy connection?
Cleared all codes, took it for a spin round the block, re scan and now only the ABS fault showing, this car heals itself!
Happy Days!

Pleased your looking good for an FOC Abs pump job! :happy2:
-
The man from Del Monte, he say YES!
Well Mark from Barnstaple VW service dept' has said that VW will cover the repair of the ABS pump, as long as I am willing to cover the cost of two corroded brake pipes, so happy days, car will be done tomorrow!
Happy does not seam a big enough work some how...
-
Another update, went to pick the car up today after a slight delay as the parts got delayed???
Went in paid, £166, full diagnostic and two new brake pipes...
Went to drive home, got to edge of road from their car park, put me foot on the brake to stop, and me foot nearly hits the floor!
Now that ain't right, pump the brakes, no not right, reverse back to car park and stop, just!
Go back in to the service desk, nice young man comes out drives it round the car park and confirms "the brakes are a bit spongy" yeah right!
Well the upshot is they still have the car, going to be investigated on Monday and will call me PM.
Not happy now...
-
Well I got the car back today and all is good, stops very well now.
Ordered a new passenger exterior door pull while I was there as mine is badly scratched.
Next thing on the wanted list is a nearside fog light, any recommendations?
