Title: Mk6 steering wheel

Want to get a mk6 steering wheel, I remember someone saying I need a different cruise control stalk, can anyone help me please?

Hay Dom.

I didn't need to change my CC Stalk when I had a Mk6 GTI MFSW fitted on my '08 Mk5. IIRC it is a revision E so was compatible anyway. Ed @Eddie-NL (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2345) fitted mine.

CC stalk is the same. You can change wiper stalk if you have the one for mfd control coz you wont need this buttons anymore. But you dont have to change it tbf

it would depend on what version of stalk you have fitted

A or F don't work with a mk6 Steering controller

They can be modified to work, which i did for a few people

Hello! Pry off the top steering column cover and on left side youll see indicator part no. Ideal part no 1k0953513G for best compatibility.

yep you did mine for me when we swaped my mine to mk6 wheel with ch controller
