Hi there, currently in a Lupo GTI, signed up to have a nose around as i love mk5's!

Seriously, if I had to have a smaller car, it wouldn't be a Polo, it would be a proper pocket-rocket: A Lupo GTI. Fabulous car!
I think I've seen yours at shows etc - I might even have taken pics of it. Very tastefully modded, mate.

Oooooh! You got red seat belts too!
My original GTI front seats went to a friend's modded VW Caddy van. I got Recaro's now (makes everyone jealous).
Can't see from your pic if your back seats have Interlagos cloth - I know a good source for the genuine article if you need. My Recaro's were originally R32 cloth but are now Interlagos.
As you can see, the Lupo GTI is very much and genuinely loved by many Mk5 Golf GTIers.

....The thinner unbacked sample with thicker white stripes is actually the original Mk1/Mk2 'Interlagos' cloth but you need the Mk5 version to match your front seats. Take care that a supplier knows the difference!
TC gave me MJ Interiors as the source. Very experienced guy who is happy to either just supply or upholster as well. In Shipley up north somewhere: http://www.mjinteriors.co.uk
