Title: Did Edition 30's have a wheel option?
Post by: Bane on February 10, 2015, 08:42:21 pm
I'm pretty sure that I'm correct in thinking that all the Ed30's came with Pescara's as standard fitment.
Or was there ever an option on wheel choice?
Reason I ask is that there is a five door ed30 for sale near me and it seems to have 10 spoke Audi S3 wheels on it...not even sure that they're even VAG but might be reps.I suspect that this has an impact on the value but I just want to be sure in my facts.

Could they not come with 18" Monza 2's in black? Maybe?

Yes dealers could specify Detroits from the factory, as they were standard issue in Europe  :happy2:

I remember a couple of people ordering their Ed30's on Golfgti.co.uk many moons ago.

Is the Eddy in question the silver one on Auto Trader with the Audi Rotors? I looked at that as well, if it helps the Edition 30 wheels come up for sale fairly regularly and won't be that much more expensive than what you could get for the Rotors.

No,it's an 07 plate black 5 door with tinted rear windows. On sale locally and as far as I'm aware not yet in the national sales sites.
Reg ends in AHF if it sounds familiar to anyone.
