Title: Does this seem legit?
Post by: Scott73 on February 11, 2015, 01:56:26 pm: Hi, I'm a first time mk5 buyer and I'm going to view a 2007 mk5 gti (candy white) this Friday. The only thing I'm concerned about is I've just been emailed scans of some of the paperwork and it's showing the engine code as AXX, if the car is an 07 shouldn't it be BWA?
I really hope it's not suspect, everything else looks great with the car, and it feels like I've been looking for the right one for ages now.

my GTI was exactly the same and it bothered not about as much as @rich83 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=709) 's chin is small.
