Title: RCD300 AUX help

I bought the cd changer to jack adaptor for AUX connection, fitted it into the back of the RCD300 but when i press the CD button twice it does not activate the AUX?
 
Anyone know how to fix this?
 
In my previous MK5 it worked straight away.

Is it the "Connect2" adaptor.  If so, in addition to the plug you needs a separate ground connection to the case of the RCD 300. If I remember correctly there is a loose black wire - i used a small self tapping screw to fix it to one of the holes in the metal casing of RCD 300
