Tried to change my cam follower today but the bolts to remove the fuel pump are knackered.
The heads on them are ruined so the T30 bit wont shift them.
Any ideas how i can get them out?

Anyone?

Drill the heads.

Could I cause any damage going this? I'm absolutely terrible at this sort of thing.
-
No offence but if you are terrible at this sort of thing, get someone who is a bit more confident to do it.
You could order some new bolts in the mean time and get a decent drill, drill bit and vice grips ready to remove the studs once you have drilled the heads off.
Torqing the new bolts to the correct torque and a bit of copper grease will prevent this happening again.

I've got the part number for the boots, going to order them Monday.
Following the guide to change the cam follower wasn't to bad, it's when problems like this occur I lose confidence.
I'll see if I csn get some help removing the bolts, I don't want to f*ck anything up, cheers gents.

The quality of the tools is important as sometimes you could be the best but crap Torx tips means problems.
I this case I would try rapping the Torx bolt with a hammer as shock loading quite often works wonders.
-
I would try mole grips on the heads (only as your replacing them anyway) if not get the t30 back out and see if you can angle the torx slightly, it may grip... don't lose confidence, I've had so many problems before with bolts on second hand cars, people that think they know what there doing and mashing bolts up!! just have to think of the positive side... once its fixed :)
