Easy install bar removing the pinchy snappy finger hurting clip from the stock boost pipe.
Took about an hour in total to install.
First impressions.......brilliant :jumping:
Second impression now that I've just installed a map......brilliantastic :jumping: :jumping:
The Evoms is definitely noisier now that the map has been installed but none the less pleasant on the ear......sounds like am getting bang for my buck.
Really well made piece of kit, no corners look to have been cut so all in all am made up with it.
Would defy recommend to others.
Purchased from Garage Midnight for just under £300 which included overseas p&p..

I fitted a revo one last weekend, and it too was really straightforward, only finding the same clip as you to be a pest!!!
-
Yep fitted an evoms to my s3 last week good bit of kit

I'm really tempted by one of these
I just don't want lots of noise when cruising. Is it louder than stock under gentle load?
-
^^^^ Get it on!! :popcornsoda:
While pottling around you'll not notice it, just the occasional (very quiet) whoooosh, it's only when on WOT you'll start sounding like a chav.

i know mine isn't an evoms, but i assume they are very similar, but mine is very 'sooky' sounding (if you get what i mean) even on gentle acceleration, only way it isn't is if i'm really really hardly pressing the pedal!
-
It's not head turning noise but you can hear it in the cabin with the Sound down. It certainly doesn't sound like a Dump valve so you won't get the stare of death from all and sundry.
Gentle load and all is good sound wise, however drop it into sport and floor it and then you'll get a few whoosh noises.
I can't really fully describe the sound and no way could I spell it but get your hand in your pocket and you won't regret it pal.

Fitted a Evoms and Milltek Turbo back over the weekend and know exactly what you mean, its hard to discribe the sound very strange but awesome in the same breath
:happy2: :happy2: :happy2:

Mine is mapped & have a milltek fitted & my evoms comes tomorrow, can't wait :)

Where's the best place to purchase a evoms?
-
Bought mine from Garage Midnight.
There are other suppliers, but I bought based on forum members comments and feedback and they all proved right. :happy2:

I've been debating weather to go for a evoms or a panel filter. I might just go for a panel filter. So far I've had pre cat delete and I'm looking to a remap but will probably stop the mods there.
-
I fitted a panel filter at my last service and noticed zero difference tbh it's a pipercross. Can't comment on the evoms until Monday but reviews seem good.

There is not debate needed between the two. Ones great one does very little

I think my revo intakes days are numbered the ball and chain does not stop moaning about it. The whooshing noises are ok. Its the constant ccccrrrrrr under normal driving.

Patiently waiting for the call from the garage to tell me to collect the car... hurry up lol!

Love the sound that a simple induction kit provides, really transforms the car!
