Title: My new GTI mrk5 :)
Post by: jacobrownoly on February 14, 2015, 01:20:50 am
Hello all, I am new to the world of GTI so please be nice :)

First of all I love my new gti and I am just after some information for some modifications that I could do to the car.

I have just had a stage 1 revo remap which has definitely made a nice difference, probably feels like an extra 35-40 bhp even tho revo claim 252 bhp.

I am looking for some other things to enhance the performance of the car. Don't really wanna spend loads of money but it would be nice to get it to around 270-280 bhp, Induction kit maybe? ect

Also looks and handling if anyone could share? Getting it lowered maybe to improve handling?

Any advice will be much appreciated. Again I am new to GTIs and I also don't have that much knowledge on cars in generally so go easy ;)

Jack

If you want to achieve 280 bhp mark you have to do a few things
Intake pipe Revo
Milltek down pipe and sports cat or decat and catback system too
And you should be good to go maybe a upgraded hpfp but they don't come cheap

bump, anyone else?

Is the stage 2 revo worth going for?

p.s just a curious question but is it possible to lose your stage 1 mapping?

You need to spend some time reading through the performance mods section. All these questions have been asked many times before  :happy2:
