Just checked my history and my car had a revision 'n' fitted in 2011. Is this the most up to date for this year GTI? I ask as I've heard some were different for early cars. Would it be worth upgrading to the latest 'R' even though its not really showing any failure symptoms?

Try blowing into it through the tube from the inlet manifold. If it is air tight then I wouldn't bother. Put the £30 into V-Power or a meal for you and the other half instead :happy2:
