Title: RS4 seats and seat functionality (in Mk6 Golf R)

So, the Audi and VW connectors for heated seats/seat controls are different. I have some RS4 seats in the .:R and want to hook it up.

Anyone know if there is any adaptors? Want to avoid splicing where possible but it may be the only option!

You can make p&p adapters using genuine vag terminals and pins. None on the market afaik. EddieNL probably can help with pin locations. Good luck!  :happy2:

So I can actually there are adaptors out there but just a case of tracking them down?

You have to make and assemble the adapters. (i.e. go to dealers and buy the corresponding mating housing connectors for the Rs4 seats and the cars loom, and pins that go in them, and the crimp them to wires, pop them in the right holes in the connectors and job done)

None on the market Id have thought!

All the extra wiring is for is electric lumbar (ground and live) and remaining wires for seat heating, thats it! Not like you are wiring Engine ECU  :wink:

Itll be a bit fiddly but its the only way to not splice your wires.

Ah nice one. I'll hunt down the part numbers I guess and get read for some splicing! In theory it should all work!
