Title: Steering wheel trim removal
Post by: gti_jimmy on February 21, 2015, 04:49:24 pm
Couldn't find any results via the search, is it possible to remove these bits of plastic from the steering wheel (circled in red) as I want to re-spray them (black) as they are fairly scratched up.

Thanks

Yep, they just pull off. Can be a bit firm, but they will come off. I wrapped mine in brushed aluminium look wrap and I was well pleased with the result.

Thumb under the bottom of them and firmly push upwards, they should release no problem
