Title: Video/DVD in motion on RNS 510

Hi All,

I need to get this mod carried out on my RNS 510 version F.

Any ideas how his will be done as the dvd cuts out after 5mph?

Yes i was watching from dundee :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

RNS Manager can do it or look on eBay there are disks you can buy for £5 or download the file and put it on yourself

I believe there are a couple of ways to do this.

One is by removing the unit and perhaps adding a loom and the other is through a cd which contain files to enable this feature.

Anyone have any experience of either of them and what which option would be recommended?

Have you had this done and does it work well? I don't want to brick the Rns

Ideally would like to update the firmware and update v12 maps aswell.

Why would you want video in motion?

This is a serious question.  I can only think at the moment that perhaps you think everyone out there is a great driver who'll watch out for your wellbeing?

For the passengers whilst on a long drive. I obviously can't drive and watch a movie

makes me why have a dvd player when passengers can only see it when car stationary. cant really enjoy the film that way lol

Just to clarify to other forum members, i do not intend to drive and watch the movie. It is for the passengers!  :smiley:

For those of you who have kids will surely understand
