First off  what a great forum with loads of excellent info.  :happy2:
New to mk5 gti's but previous cars include mk1's , mk2, and mk4. Still got the mk1.

Did a fair bit of reading on here before buying, I had been looking for a while as I wanted a blue DSG  car either shadow or graphite without leather and no sunroof.

Not many out there, nearly all blue cars seem to have leather. Ended up with a 2006 shadow blue,2 owners  with DSG and 72k. Got it for a good price as it needed a cambelt and waterpump and tyres.
  It needs a few cosmetic jobs and the rear bumper has been painted but the colour match is poor, so that will need doing.

Hello and welcome, I've had a 2008 5 door with the DSG for the last 4 months, same colour as yours, great car.
