So I had a go at cutting and painting my engine cover today, pretty happy with the results... Sorry for bad pictures my iPhone camera has smashed :D! Oh and the top intake hose has been ordered in orange today :)!

What paint did u use on the engine cover?
will it stand the heat in the summer, is my main question there....
But looks awesome !

Just normal airosole, I had it couloir matched to my hoses, it's been fine up until now, taken it on long journeys Aswel, can't imagine the engine will get much hotter in the summer, than it does now?! Sorry grande my missus had thrown it away by the time I got back from work!!! Just cut half of the air box off retaining the front clip points, and the back and side you can see from the pic what's missing :)!
