Title: Brake Pads Question

Hi,

Discovered today that my 2008 GTI DSG needs Brake Pads all round and two Discs for the front so going to get New Discs and Pads all round...

I went onto http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/brake-pads/car/volkswagen/golf-mk5-gti/2008/2-0-turbo

I'm hoping to get Brembo OE Replacements
I'm slightly confused as to what caliper is on my GTI .. It's giving me an option to buy a Lucas, TRW or a ATL Caliper !

Out of interest what Discs and Pads are best value for money ?

I feel your pain buddy. Do we need need the smaller or bigger discs :(

What I'm confused over is what exact ones to get ... One to suit a Lucas Caliper, TRW Caliper or a ATL Caliper ?

Own the GTI a year and it needs the brakes done but I'm very inexperienced over the whole what brakes to suit the calipers mentioned above ? Just dont want to order some online if they have to be sent back again !

From what I can gather it all about the disc size. Check out my thread further down the page about breaks.
