Post by: Tfsi_Mike on November 27, 2009, 02:53:13 pm

Phoned to order the ITG, Andy was on hol.  Have to order it on Monday (better for me as its payday).

The car will sit untill the new inlet arrives.  Not going to bother refitting oem inlet.

Ah just realised not sure if it will be back together by Weds Sy  :sad1:

So one of you is missing an intake and the other an exhaust - Looks like you could make an interesting hybrid - Skoda mates with Seat.

Isn't it one of you two guys who is/was planning on getting a Forge TWINtake?

I still have my std exhaust on lol. hopefully it will arrivebefore tuesday, going to get it fitted by a garage, cos its far to cold for me to be doing it myself. only 25 quid to fit as well

i was looking into a twintake but when i spoke to them to see if they wanted to get my skoda in to try measurements etc, they guy was rude and just plain unhelpful, quite the opposite to andy@ITG.

.... :surprised: I'm very surprised to hear that about Forge. I've known them a few years and have never experienced anything like that. Did you perchance present yourself as if you were expecting something in return for offering your Skoda?

I know Andy at ITG is extremely helpful.

The bussiness of correct pipe i/d.  The noise.  Seen some cars with impresive results with the inlet so gonna give it a try

didnt even ask for any discount at all, just said would they be interested in adapting a twintake to fit the octavia i i supplied them the car to do the measurements.

loving the ITG anyways. As wil you mike. be interested to see how much louder it is in yours. think mine might get drowned out with this new exhaust. supposably its a bit loud.

Ah good good! I'm just about to sleeve mine for correct ID.

Would like to change but can't justify the outlay.

Be good to get your thoughts after ITG instal  :happy2:
