Title: Help required with VW bluetooth kit ignition

Looking for some help  :smiley:

wiring in a bury bluetooth kit to my mk5 golf gti and its all in except for the blue cable coming from the bury box which is "12 volt ignition positive" which is obviously the power for the unit as theres currently nothing when plugging it in. I just want to check what this should be connected to as I'm a newbie at electrics! is it to be crimped to the blue cable from the vehicle harness? or is it the yellow or red one?

Youre better gettin am 'add a circuit' piggyback dual fuse and taking a switched live from the drivers side fusebox.

I put the same kit in when I sold mine and did just that, no tampering with wires that way

thanks for that, worked fine. Only seems to be coming out of one speaker though and radio etc out of all of them? did you have this problem?

No, mine came out the front speakers. Maybe look at your settings and check all plugs are in solid
