Well, I thought it was about time I introduced Steve's Golf R MK6 DSG on here.
It is a daily driven R, which is now making some serious power....

And into the 2's for 0-60mph......full weight, 1/2 a tank of fuel, road tyres, 19' rims, fully 100% repeatable and no bullsh*t!

Car runs GIAC stage 3 engine and DSG software, twin LPFPs, modified OEM high flow injectors, Nortech HTA30 turbo kit with tubular exhaust mani, HPA intake mani, Front mount race Intercooler, race cams, uprated valvetrain, uprated rods, OEM Pistons, Dodson clutchpacks, Loba 10.5mm HPFP, etc, etc.
Steve has been developing this R for some time at Statller to create a fast, reliable R that will give 100% repeatable results for anyone wanting the same specification car.

No because my engine is out having "a few mods"

Hell's bells that's immense!! :surprised:
If someone was to hand Steve a standard R and say "do your stuff" and get this behemoth back......what's the damage?

Nice to see it done without extra injectors

2.8 seconds..... Holy **** :jumping:
Got such a soft spot for mk6R's! What a weapon! Look forward to seeing a vid..
-
Another great and fast machine!
PS: For what I can see it's still on stock brakes? For a drag race it should be enough but I'd imagine that the owner would like to have something better.
-
Any meth being used on this one?
Cheers, Stevie.

Ooh very nice,When is you're car getting done John

On stock brakes too. He makes @Saintsteve (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=4825) look like a wimp

From stock to this would cost between £15k-£20k.

Drool. Appears to about as quick as HGP's VR6 turbo conversion, but a hell of lot cheaper. Apparently that costs around €100K!
