Title: Passenger Door Not Unlocking

Have an issue with the passenger door, it was a bit sticky and wouldn't unlock, now it wont unlock at all....

So I assume the locking mech. has failed? Whats the best way to fix this potentially without going back to vw

Can anyone suggest anything?

It has been suggested that the door needs drilling out to get to mechanism... can anyone confirm this?
