Title: Rusty caliper mounting bracket nuts

Probably an obvious answer to this but does anyone have any tips on the best way to undo the 2 rusty nuts which hold the front brake caliper bracket on?  I was working on my wife's CMax this morning planning to change the front discs and pads but couldn't get either nut undone... I tried gt85, tapping with a mallet and brute force but none worked... I did think of using a breaker bar but there's not enough space in the wheel arch.  Any ideas welcome
