Title: Coding - Airbag Fault - Request for Service
Post by: bartholomewdj on March 11, 2015, 10:42:28 pm
Evening all,

Through disconnecting the passenger air bag on/off switch I have caused the airbag fault to come on.
From my understanding this needs to be cleared by VAG come/VCDS, would anyone be able to do this for me around the Heathrow area?
I'm willing to pay and travel a fair distance.

I'm driving in Europe in a few weeks and really would love the error cancelled before then.

Many thanks
-Dave

Hi mate, I had this last week and ended up buying a diagnostic kit from eBay for £12 which cleared the code in 2 minutes. It will save u travelling anywhere and can be used in the future too. It was called a u281 reader, hope this helps

Thanks for that info, I'll take a look.

If anyone can offer their services however I would be interested, I'm always very wary of eBay items.
Anyone near Heathrow please PM me :)
