hi guys, this is my first post and its a slightly embarrassing one.
Today I was parking up (a really wet muddy patch where I usually park when im running late for uni). As I was reversing out I heard the car scrape really badly (against a huge rock) and the only thing I could do was reverse out as it scraped as I moved forwards or backwards. Now there is something hanging under the car at the rear passenger side, my knowledge of cars is limited although I would say I know more than the average person, but just to be on the safe side I wanted to ask whats hanging off? could it just be an under guard? can I remove it and carry on driving? or should I put it back on properly. my one issue is the jack in my car is horrendous so I don't know if it would be easier just to rip it off. I know its stupid but it has me stressed right now! somebody help?! :scared:
PS il try to get a good picture if I can to show you guys.
thanks for reading any help is hugely appreciated! :happy2:

hazard a guess it's the plastic cover that fasten to the floor underneath the car

Sounds like the undertray to me, the clips were probably not put back on when it was last removed.
