Someone told me that when reflashing your GTi, the diverter valve has the tendency to go a lot - is this true ?
They said it would need replacing around 1'ce a year - i didnt quite believe it :stupid:

My thoughts are try the search function. :P
If you managed to miss the 10,000 threads on this subject then you deserve to trawl through them all.

Have a search Rich the new rev D piston type and older rev G DV's have been discussed quiet a bit.
I ran the OEM rev G version on mine remapped for 40k+ miles with no problems (yours will have the same version fitted I would expect).
Edit - TC beat me to it :booty:

im still running mine from factory on 07 think its C and its fine. its one of those things that if you notice a problem then check it and replace but as has been said what aint broke dont need fixing

Personally speaking I think the K04 cars are much more sympathetic as the DV is not bolted into the turbo.
