Title: Diverter Valve - Replace
Post by: Rich on November 28, 2009, 08:45:31 pm
Someone told me that when reflashing your GTi, the diverter valve has the tendency to go a lot - is this true ?

They said it would need replacing around 1'ce a year - i didnt quite believe it :stupid:

Your thoughts please...

Have a search Rich the new rev D piston type and older rev G DV's have been discussed quiet a bit.

I ran the OEM rev G version on mine remapped for 40k+ miles with no problems (yours will have the same version fitted I would expect).

Edit - TC beat me to it  :booty:

Personally speaking I think the K04 cars are much more sympathetic as the DV is not bolted into the turbo.
