Hi everyone, had a browse on the net etc for info on this and seem to be reading mixed answers on it so thought id post the question my self.
I just bought some 19 inch rs6 alloys, they are 8j et35 all around. My car is lowered about 30mm i think it is, on eibach sportlines.
Looking to get 225 or 235 35profile tyres fitted so wondering if anyone knows if i will have any rubbing issues with this setup?
If not would going to 215 tyres solve the problem.
Appreciate the help an input if you can guys cheers Daz

You'll need 215's. 225 might be OK (but probably not) and 235 would be awful. You should look into the screw delete MOD for the front arches as well.

Definitely 215s.
The rim will poke a further 22mm out than a standard GTI wheel. I ran a 20mm spacer on the back and it rubbed pretty bad.
I've just bought some 18x8 et35 wheels. Going for either 215 or 205 tyres!

215s it is then, glad i asked on here first then as was close to just ordering the 225s. Thanks for your help much appreciated. Will get some pictures posted once i got them on the car

Yeah 215 is a good choice along with the screw mod
Add a little bit of camber out the back to get rid of any rubbing
