Anyone got pic's of their DSG GTi's with the correct Eibach Sport Lines fitted?
I've got the non DSG one's on mine and the front sits to low for my liking, would like to see some with the correct 1130kg DSG fronts fitted before I spend another £160!
Cheers

Looks good I got some eibach sport line springs just need to fit them was thinking of coilovers but now makes me think that actually the springs be more then enough
-
Front looks a little nicer on that.
I think I may have to get the proper DSG ones...
I expect I'd be able to get a decent bit back if I sell my 1 month old ones (with new rear springs)
Cheers

So there is a noticeable gap under the front, where as on mine it's pretty much non existent.
Time to bight the bullet and order the DSG ones!
-
How's the ride handling like?

    after mine settling more now, its low ive just realised the shop supplied me with wrong springs too rears all the same but front are diff will get a pic with new spring later in the week when they arrive
-
Whats the difference with the DSG ones?
-
I assume the springs are harder for the heavier DSG gearbox?
-
Whats the difference with the DSG ones?
rears are the same but front are designed to take more weight hence the car sitting lower
-
what happens if you fit dsg springs to manual would it level out the drop?
apparently spring kit makes front sit lower than rear....
-
So the car sits lower at the front with the dsg springs? Sounds tempting but i've got a manual?
-
On a DSG car if you fit "Non DSG" springs it's sits lower on the front due to the different spring rate.
DSG gearbox is quite a bit heaver than a manual. If you fit DSG springs to a Manual it will more than likely sit higher.
-
So...finally got round to putting my DSG Springs on the front...
Also treated the car to some new Sach's struts as the passenger one was a little bouncy over pot holes.
Car now sit's pretty much level all the way round, much more OEM :) (will get a decent pic up)
from hub centre to arch lip is 34mm all round now.
:pomppomp:

Can you tell any difference in comfort than standard springs.
-
Bumpy roads around Norfolk don't seem to be an issue. My misses has a BMW Mini and thats far worse on it's standard suspension :)
