Title: Flat Battery = Dash Board lights
Post by: MarkyN on March 17, 2015, 08:20:47 pm
Came to go out in the car today after not driving it since Sunday, battery was dead. CD player wasn't working, just tick tick when trying to start it. Hooked it up via jump leads and started it up with a good Rev from my other car. When it finally started I noticed that the dash light were not going out. On my Rev counter I have a yellow steering wheel symbol. On the MPH clock side I have tge airbag light, the seatbelt light, the Traction control light and the tire pressure light staying on?!

Any idea's? Am thinking its a poor battery so am getting a new one tomorrow.

How do I go about the dash board lights

when you disconnect the battery the dash lights up like a Christmas tree when its reconnected yours was flat and gives the same result when restarted , the good news is that a short drive normally resets them , try a little drive  :happy2:

Ah right ok man. Well I didn't want to take it far to be honest incase the battery is brow bread. I'll take it out tomorrow for a quick drive and see if they sort out themselves.
The new battery should be here by the weekend, was just hoping I won't be heading to the garage to get all the lights switched off
