Title: Gearbox / clutch - sticking problem

Recently I've noticed my car likes sticking in first and second gear, I have to give it quite a hard pull/push to take it out of fear anybody had this or know what it could be??

Really starting to annoy me

Is this just when cold by any chance ? It may be selector or you may need to just change oil in your gearbox

Does it pretty much 90% the time in 1st or 2nd, selector on top of the gearbox ? I'll have to have a look at that if not new oil I suppose. Hopefully someone has experienced it and can say for sure :)

Sounds like you've got the wrong clutch parts.

My old Helix clutch did this in First & reverse when engine was hot (fine when cold). Only when ALEX @ AKS took the gearbox off and noticed I had the wrong clutch fitted. With the correct parts fitted, all was sorted.

I'd recommend going to see ALEX  :happy2:

Oh dear I'll have to find out the receipts I think the clutch and flywheel was bought from AKS but will dig them out and give him a call thanks
