As per the title, although I'm pretty sure it will. I am not totally sure if I need to change the bumper as well. I called to TPS and the guy I spoke to was adamant that I needed to replace the rear bumper in order to fit the valance; does anyone now if this is correct or not.

I suspect not, but for the cost of a second hand ED30 rear bumper off eBay, may as well swap the lot and go for a slightly better look than the standard bumper. I think on of the reasons to swap the bumper is to make sure the heat shielding is in the correct place but how important this is I don't know.

Hmm! I thought the bumpers of a GT are very similar to the Gti

The whole ED30 lower bumber section (which incorporates the valance in its design) is a one piece mold and yes that will fit your current top bumper section fine.
The R32 Rear lower bumper section will also fit fine although it is 2 pieces, one being the lower bumper the other a seperate valance. The valance won't fit anything other than the R32 lower bumber so you'd need the complete lower section.

Rob the PPCGB bumper you asked me about is one piece so that whole lower section will fit onto the top section already on your car. :happy2:

Cheers Andy, this is slightly different as it has no exhaust cut out as I have a 1.4 with the hidden exhaust.
But looks like the whole lower section

Good find that site, much cheaper than I have seen elsewhere. I'm hoping to get the R32 rear bumper with the GTI exhaust cut out as soon as funds allow!
