Title: Exterior door trim removal
Post by: PT82 on March 18, 2015, 08:14:19 pm
Hi guys

I have a 4 inch scratch on my car that's been annoying me since purchase. By an insane amount of luck it is only along the plastic door trim. I have found a second hand one on ebay that's the same colour. How easy are these to get off? Any clips I'm going to break getting it off? I have attached a very professional looking picture below to show you where I mean!

I'm pretty sure they are bonded on AND attached to the door via clips from the other side, best to take the door skin off to have a look of i were you.

I'm sure someone will be along to correct me shortly.

I seem to remember people saying the trims themselves distort and warp very easily when being removed so be wary of the new one you're getting which could be bent lol
