Post by: Carl123 on March 21, 2015, 02:41:39 pm
Just a curious question my boost peaks about 17psi but drops off below 15 in some gears is this normal or have I got a issue somewhere cheers

If you have a GTI, have you had your Diverter Valve replaced?

These are a common item to fail on the mk5, particularly the standard GTI due to its' placement right next to the turbo.

Wow, that's impressive can't exactly knock the Blu fin for that, I want to fit a boost gauge to mine so I can see what's going on but don't know which one to get??

Nah I'm hoping with a decent map I'll get a lil more but will just be better Rev range with right fueling etc...mines a new South performance gauge with vent pod come with the car but I'm sure you can get them from awesome gti  :happy2:

I didn't have to fit mine because it was already on the car when I bought it but it shouldn't be too hard!
