Hi there just got a mk5 gti Iv alwasy had mk4 but changed now. Got a few questions if anyone can give me some advise

When lowering on Coillovers does car chasis have to be notched like a mk4?

Want decat the car shall I go 3" or 2.5",,?

Want to upgrade the brakes what is a good set up..?

You don't need to notch the chassis on coil overs,A decat  will fail the mot  so I would put cat back on the car
As for brakes fit the r32 set up

Unless you are going stupid low you don't need a notch.

That reminds me I still need a notch the banging is starting to annoy me!
