Title: MFSW buttons onto a DSG wheel
Post by: Lyons on March 22, 2015, 10:46:25 pm
Folks, I know MFSW buttons can be added to a DSG wheel, but can anyone tell me if the little module above the GTi badge is the same on a DSG car and one with MFSW? My intention is to get a DSG wheel, remove the paddles and fit the buttons (my car is manual). Just not sure if the little module needs changed too.

Thanks in advance.

Excellent, thanks. Out of curiosity what happens in a DSG car with MFSW? The paddles and buttons both plug into the same slots in cars which have 1 but not the other.

Does the paddle plug into the back of the buttons which in turn plugs into the little module?

Correct.

Only exception is on manual steering with MFSW there is no space or fitting for DSG paddles ( stating the obvious lol)
