Title: PM Box - Whats the limit - How do we extend it ?
Post by: Kiwi on March 23, 2015, 04:47:08 pm

I have a few PM's in my box, collected over the years.

It would seem the new format of the site, now has a limit on how many PM's one can keep.

My Capacity:
261 messages, 261% full.

So how do I extend capacity or how do I export the PM's in to my email account, to be able to keep them, but also receive new PM's ??

Cheers

You get the PM's in your Email anyway.

This was raised when the forum changed. All you can really do is copy them into a word document as save locally, there's no export feature as such.

@dazza (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=10457) is it possible to have some sort of export feature that can export PM as plain text, or HTML or something?

I think we will raise the limit again.

It was only capped to easy load on the server. As everythibg is running well at the moment I don't see why we can't up it.

Will look at it this week.

If you have 261 PMs, then you're probably hoarding them. Delete the unnecessary ones. Copy and paste the others either into notepad/word, or send yourself a new PM with the important bits of the other PMs.
