Hi have just bought a Greek reg candy white gti with red leather interior, spoke to VW and it's listed, as it says in the book, with RZ trim code, according to them Charcoal Titanium fabric which does not sound very leather or red !
Does anyone know whether red was an option in late 2005 ? Seats are the R32 style not possibly recovered cloth versions so it's a bit of a mystery, the guy was fanatical about it judging by the mods and condition but buying a set in leather and then recovering is going a bit far ? Quality is certainly up to OEM standards ?
Thanks for your help, will be back often I am sure !
Regards

I don't think they did, I've never heard/seen it before.
Probably has had new seats and a retrim.
Get some photos up Steve, I'd like to see the, :happy2:

My father was in Greece recently and took photos of every GTI he passed for me, they had some mad types out there.
Either stuff we never got the chance to buy or just heavily modded.
One was a convertible mk5 GTI!!

They could be seats that have been dyed?

Thanks for your input, must admit when I saw it I did not realise the red interior was not readily available, had been looking at Eos's and red was quite a common leather option on those.
Anyway, I have an iPad with pics of the car on and use it to view the site, can anyone give me guidance as to how I get the pictures I have on to the site please ? As simply as possible !
Yes Luke you are right they do go overboard a little and regretably not always in the best taste !
