Title: Frustrating little problems coming to light !
Post by: Steve in crete on March 28, 2015, 03:10:23 pm
Hi, as in all used cars, as you start to use them little things start rearing their head, had the car a week and well pleased still, washed it last night after sand laden rain turned it a shade of red !

1.  Handle to get passenger seat to ' easy entry ' came off in my hand and now having pushed the handle back does still not work well, horrible metallic clatter and too much play in the handle movement I think ? Should the handle have some sort of clip to stop it coming off again, which it has of course !

2   Seat belt buckle on my seat appears to not know i have the belt on. Periodic and frustrating chiming only cleared temporarily by pushing the belt further into the buckle.

Can anyone throw any light on the solutions to these little niggles ?

Thanks   Steve

Thanks ' Redemption ' very helpful, the drivers seat appears to have the same mechanism but does not work at all, I assume both seat do the ' easy entry ' action ?

Will sort pictures soon I hope !

Yes, both seats have the sliding 'easy entry' action. If the drivers seat doesn't work then it's highly likely the clip has broken or popped out of position.
