Just ordered one to play with. Search tells me that a few people on here have used them. Interested to hear how you are all getting on and any interesting projects?

I keep hearing about these at work, these and other  android boxes, meant to be brilliant but my Internet is too slow where I live!!

I've been using them since the first one as my main media system and wouldn't use anything else now.

My current Pi version B is running RaspBMC and is hooked up to my AV receiver providing full HD 1080p 3D video to my 50" plasma and 7.1 HD surround. I can't believe such a little thing can provide such a good number of features and power but it does! I have over 1000 movies and even more TV episodes all on my NAS which is picked up without a problem by the Pi. I can control the whole thing from my iPad or S5, just so slick.

Really need to get my mitts on the latest version and give that a whirl with OSMC as that's meant to be even better than RaspBMC as everything has been upgraded.

I have the Apple TV1 very similar just not has powerful as the pi? I've fitted the crystalhd card which makes watching movies far smoother.

Some really good features but I'll upgrade to the pi once xbmc gotham stops getting supported, then move on to Kodi

There's not much can touch these little media centres for features

So far i've stuck it in a case and built the OS. Cant log in yet as i need to pickup a USB keyboard.

Kodi is probably first port of call, along with Minecraft for my little boy, then some retro gaming.

Still not really decided on a use for it, other than to mess about with.

We use them at work, great bit of kit for very small or low level computing tasks.

We use them for displaying production data on dashboards through TV's around our factory, although the modern browser demands and software updates are starting to outweigh the processing power of the basic ones and we've already clocked ours slightly...  :scared:
