Looking to install parking sensors into the golf. Do they go on the top part of the bumper or lower part of the bumper? Also does there be factory markings on the inside of the bumper for the sensors? And if not what's the measurements for them?
Thanks

They go on the top part but I don't know about the measurements or if there are marking unfortunately.
I'm sure someone who knows will be along soon to tell you :happy2:

Yep markings should be on the inside, VW's info doesn't specify measurements but I can print to pdf the info from ElsaWin and Email it if that is any help

Yeah if you can I'll pm you now @Golf_GT_TDI

How are the sensors connected in the car? I have parking sensors but not connected - don't make any sound?

I put aftermarket ones on which are connected to the reverse light wire so when I put it in reverse then the sensors come on

Mine are aftermarket as well, already on the car when I bought it. @EddieNL had a look at it for me recently and thinks possibly the buzzer is faulty as it makes no sound. But I have a reverse camera anyway so it's not a major issue.
