Title: What water pump?

Im going to be doing a cambelt change soon and thought it wise to do the water pump whilst im there. My question is should i stick with oem water pump? On my 1.8t corrado i was advised to get a metal impellor pump as the fins on the plastic ones were prone to snapping off. Not sure if this is an issue on the mk5 platform but i thought id double check!

Never heard of such an issue with the 2.0tfsi engine, I just did mine yesterday and I've put a new OEM part in there.

I've used circoli ones for years and not had any issues
