............it is usually but when i'm on a 12 hr night shift 7 miles from home it has to stay in a secure car park. .Do you think it would do any harm to use some of that spray grease in side the latches etc ?.

You can get small tins of lock de-icer - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_176807_langId_-1_categoryId_229902

Thing is it was not really the lock earlier today that was frozen. All the door handles inc the boot were stuck solid & i didn't want to pull them too hard incase i broke something inside the door ?.After a bit of trial & error managed to get into the drivers side but the others were stuck fast untill i got home.

Do you know where you can get this from - I have had a look around (possibly badly) but I couldn't seem to find where I could buy it from as a friend recomended it for stopping the windows sticking shut on the Scirocco.

Cheers,

Deacon

I can solve all your problems for 49p! Buy a cheap arse disposable lighter from the local shop and keep it in your pocket. When the locks freeze just light it up and waft it on the metal section of the key and then stick the key in the lock. Hey presto the hot/warm key melts the ice in the lock and your in! Been doing this for years and its never failed me yet.
