Title: 10 years & 100K later DV finally gone
Post by: Black9 on April 04, 2015, 06:15:10 pm
So dv has finally split on my golf Gti. Drives as normal on part throttle & below 2500 rpm. Anything above that all I can hear is hissing & not much performance. This is typical DV symptoms right?

Any links to ko3 DV replacement?

These Pierburg ones (made for VW) are the most popular

Not so true as these revision D items are also known to seep boost!

The better one to go for is the latest revision G valve with the sturdier Diaphragm fitted
£42 from Vw  :happy2:

I did alot of research before replacing mine and cane to conclusion that the G is deffinately best option
