i installed kw v1 on my gti and they are actually awesome! I used my old top mounts and the car have only done 80.000km and changed from normal oem drop links to adjust. links. just to be sure if i ever need longer or shorter ones.

the only noise i'm getting is the old upper mounts i guess. but nothing i can't stand :driver:

Regarding the front top mounts, does anyone have a part number?
And do the bearings come with the rubber mounts or do they have a part number of their own?
-
I know they used my old ones but the car wasn't very old when I got mine done
-
I'm on 69k so probably wise for me to get them swapped

I installed brand new KW V1's on my Octavia after running a second hand set for a while. From the off they creaked, groaned and knocked despite numerous attempts to fix they were eventually sent back to KW who eventually issued a full refund.
No word of an apology or offer of recompense despite several trips to my tuner who is an hours drive away.
Fit KW or nail my bellend to the desk. Pass me the hammer and nails every time.

That sounds unlucky Hedge.
Did the 2nd hand set creak and groan too?

The 2nd hand set had been fine which is why I chose them for the new ones. Won't make that mistake again.
