Title: Lowering springs.
Post by: AndyeireGTI on April 08, 2015, 08:55:34 am
Hi guys, looking to get lowering springs for my car. The only reason I'm looking at springs at the minute is because my mate has given me his. They are 50mm springs. I'm just wondering would this be too low for a daily drive? I'm running 18" wheels too.

Thanks, Andy

45mm drop is the most people usually get off eg Eibach sportlines and manage as daily driver.

Iv got 30mm and are bit more better when roads are rough, less chance of catching underside anywhere.

I run 50mm lower on coilovers and I have no issues with speed bumps. Taller kerbs can be an issue though when parking in bays.
