Title: Parking lights
Post by: AndyeireGTI on April 11, 2015, 01:02:32 pm
So I decided to change my parking lights or side lights to LED today. But there's a problem, the car will not read them and shows up on the dash as not working. I've tried two different sets of LED's and both don't work.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

Could you post a link to the led's you have decided to install
If they dont have a resistor built in they wont provide adequate resistance to the ecu and it will think you have a blown bulb

If you just get these you can use any led you like,  I've changed mine 3 times now,  always brighter but never worry about canbus friendly as these in line resistors take the problems away
