Title: thermostat part number

hi do i just need the thermostat that goes in the housing if so could you tell me the part number as I seam to just find housing for sale and guy at vw say thermostat is separate and I do not need housing.and there shut till Monday . I am gong to have ago my self as off all week .edtion 30 thanks

Thermostat and housing is all one piece on the Gti mate if thermostat comes on its own you have the wrong part, changed mine couple months ago
Had a row in vw and tps as they kept trying to sell me a different part number because thats what was listed on there system!

Told him the system is wrong and just fooking order the part number ive asked you for mongy  :laugh:

Part number - 06F 121 111 F

Or 06F 121 111 H = edition 30  thermostat number both are around £35

Thanks alot for that mate i know what you mean. W blackpool keep putting 10w 40 oil after service had to have it change twice second time they gave me a 5lt jug and i had do it my self as they said no mechanics were free fo two days great service.
